How many steps are there to overcome a broken relationship?

First there's denial. You don't believe that it happened.

Second, self depreciation.

Third, anger.

Forth, settlement.

Fifth, memories.


Is this how it happens? Of course not. I have a little bit of the six steps all at once. Everything goes blurry.

I hate you for not giving us a chance.
I despise myself for not holding you tight enough.
I can't believe this is over.
I hope we can be friends.
I remember our sweet days with a smile.

yada yada yada....

Even though I'm moving on, I wonder where you will be at.
